Halloween Night 2015

So here I sit again on my third Halloween night in my apartment. It seems like every year I have off October 31st, and every year I have zero trick-or-treaters. This is something very different for me. Growing up there were hundreds of trick-or-treaters that would come to the door. I may not have had any trick-or-treaters this year however, I had my own adventures collecting candy, just earlier in the month. I had the pleasure of attending two Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween parties this year, both with great friends. Combing my love of photography with those nights lead to a few pretty cool photos.

One of my favorites is from the Boo to you Parade. It show cases Maleficent herself looking horrifically terrifying.

New Blog day 1

This is not a daily blog, or a weekly blog this is a when I feel like it blog. In that respect you may not even want to call it a blog maybe a journal is a better name for it. No matter how you look at it my goal is document things I do or things I try. I like to learn and I like to try new things, some I like and some I don't. In the end I just hope that I can take something away from my experience at the end of the day.

Today I spent my morning digging through Square Space 7, which is the platform I have chosen to use. It is an incredibly Powerful Platform that has many many facets to it. Is it as easy as I thought it would be to start using YES. It was incredibly simple to pick a template and start typing away. But what if you want to do more like I did? Well then you have a learning curve to overcome. I am the kind of person that digs in and tries it form myself before turning to a tutorial or workshop. I have been going menu by menu playing around. My site is kind of a mess right now to be perfectly honest.

I started using Square Space on platform 5 and because of that I have a lot of orphaned blog posts, test sites and information that quite frankly is not relevant any more. I am in the process of sorting through it all, getting it updated or archived and working again. Please bear with me. 

I plan to turn Natehackner.com into my own personal refuge for lots of stuff. I will do my best to keep it sorted and organized so you can find everything you are looking for that I am working on.
